Ramsey earns his first Hot Country Songs hit, while Nelson notches his record-extending 51st top 10 on Top Country Albums.
Mason Ramsey, the 11-year-old who drew viral buzz after yodeling at a Walmart in Illinois, debuts at No. 4 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart (dated May 12) with his debut hit "Famous."

The song launches at No. 2 on Country Digital Song Sales with 19,000 sold in the week ending May 3, according to Nielsen Music, while drawing 10.8 million U.S. streams.

Ramsey, who discovered country greats like Hank Williams Sr. by sifting through his grandfather's album collection, follows other young performers over the years on Hot Country Songs, including Tanya Tucker, who was 13 when "Delta Dawn" reached No. 6 in 1972; Marie Osmond (14 when "Paper Roses" hit No. 1 in 1973); LeAnn Rimes (13 when "Blue" climbed to No. 10 in 1996); and Billy Gilman (12 when "One Voice" hit No. 20 in 2000).

More recently, Lennon & Maisy reached No. 32 on Hot Country Songs with their cover of The Lumineers' "Ho Hey" in 2013, when the sisters (last name: Stella) were 13 and 9, respectively.

On the all-genre Billboard Hot 100, "Famous" launches at No. 62. It's not an age record for Ramsey, however; nearly 25 years ago, in June 1993, Jordy, then 5, hit the Hot 100 with his novelty single "Dur Dur D'Etre Bebe! (It's Tough to Be a Baby)."

Meanwhile, country icon Willie Nelson, who celebrated his 85th birthday April 29, posts his record-extending 51st Top Country Albums top 10, as Last Man Standing enters at No. 3 with 26,000 equivalent album units. Nelson pads his lead over Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton and George Strait, each in second place with 40 top 10s.

Nelson's new set was produced by his long-time collaborator Buddy Cannon, who also co-wrote all 11 tracks on the LP with Nelson.
