Puppy Doe Trial Date Set for August 2017
New Date Set For Puppy Doe Trial
Mar 3, 2017 — After
multiple delays, the trial of the man accused of torturing Puppy Doe
will finally begin on August 1, 2017. The start date will mark nearly
four years since Kiya, who later became known as “Puppy Doe,” was found
near death in the Quincy Massachusetts park next to the house where she
was held captive.
At present, the accused is in state prison on unrelated charges
involving stealing money from a New Bedford Massachusetts church.
Accused Puppy Doe abuser gets 3-5 years in prison for larceny
As the illegal Polish immigrant accused of torturing Puppy
Doe was sentenced yesterday for draining the accounts of the 95-year-old
dementia patient he was supposed to caring for, the woman’s grandson
told the judge he prays no one else suffers at Radoslaw Czerkawski’s
hands.
“We hope and pray that no other family or animal falls
victim in the future. The cruelty suffered by Puppy Doe is unimaginable,
and we are deeply saddened that this occurred in our family’s house,”
Igor Gierymski said yesterday.
